Analog Design Engineer
Role description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Analog Design Engineer based in Reading, United Kingdom. The role involves designing high-performance analog circuits, developing innovative circuit architectures, and contributing to the advancement of cutting-edge optical and electrical products in the data center sector.
Role responsibilities
• Ownership of block level design, verification, schedule and documentation
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical leads and architects throughout the design process, to optimize block specification and performance
• Innovate and deliver creative design solutions
• Partner with physical layout team to ensure post-layout performance meets specification
• Rigorous approach focused on delivering high quality results
• Work with other technical disciplines as appropriate to deliver an end-product
• Deliver/participate in design reviews
Qualifications
• Minimum 4+ years of relevant industry experience in analog IC design
• Hands on experience in analog design of high-speed communications circuits is critical
• Experience of analog design in FinFet technologies at 5nm and below is preferred
• Familiarity with the latest EDA tools
• Ability to communicate and present to customers, both internal & external
• Excellent documentation skills
• An autonomous self-starter that is also a team player
• B.Eng. or equivalent (or higher) degree in Electronics Engineering/Microelectronics
