Junior Digital Design Engineer

Role description

The Junior Digital Design Engineer will be responsible for digital circuit design to develop innovative chip architectures and drive advancements in high-speed data processing technologies.

 

Role responsibilities

• Definition of block-level specifications of high-speed digital circuits that meet key performance targets based on system-level requirements

• Review and contribute to architectural specification

• Analog/digital interface specification in close cooperation with analog/mixed-signal designers

• RTL design and testing

• Verification and physical implementation to verify circuit functionality and compliance with area, timing and power requirements

• Manage workload and schedules and report to internal management team and external customers

• Understanding synthesis and STA results

• Understanding of verification methodologies, particularly UVM, is an advantage

• Self-motivated, with strong sense of ownership and responsibility

• Good communicator and team player

 

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years of relevant industry experience in Digital IC design

• Knowledge of Ethernet, USB, PCIe and CXL protocols

• Digital IC Design and RTL Coding proficiency

• Experience in high-speed data processing technologies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Preferrable knowledge of ADC, DAC, DSP and SerDes technologies

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
